Job Description
GHR Education is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a Complex Needs classroom in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate educator passionate about supporting students with significant developmental and physical needs.
Join a supportive school team and make a meaningful impact by providing individualized instruction to a wonderful group of students with global developmental delays and varying mobility needs.
Position Details
- Pay: $51/hour (W-2)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Philadelphia, PA 19131
- Duration: Through the end of the 2026–2027 school year
- Setting: Special Education – Complex Needs Classroom
- Student Population: Students with global developmental delays and some mobility needs
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, school-day hours
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification appropriate for the position
- Experience supporting students with complex needs, developmental delays, or multiple disabilities preferred
- Experience providing individualized instruction and implementing IEPs
- Ability to support students with varying physical and mobility needs
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
